If you had the #1 pick in a Draft Analyst Draft, who would you take? Kiper? McShay? Someone else?

I'd take Mike Mayock. He's a far better talent evaluator than anybody on ESPN and among his colleagues with NFLN. For one the guy actually played football and worked as a scout. He tries to go against the grain to get attention sometimes, but can always back his claims up with tape and legit evidence.
Anybody that says Todd McShay should not be allowed to talk about football ever again.

McShay said Brian Brohm had more upside than Aaron Rodgers when the Packers took Brohm with their 2nd round pick a few years back. He also had Jimmy Clausen ahead of Sam Bradford on his big board. Mayock referred to Clay Matthews as "the best special teams player in the draft" and Mel Kiper said that JaMarcus Russell was "John Elway like". I personally like Kiper the best. McShay is just a total idiot. One poor excuse of a "draft expert"

Kiper

I know he isnt a pure draft analyst, but I'd take Peter King more for overal football expertise and connections with players/owners/coaches/GM's that he is able to reflect in his mock draft

I would go with Todd McShay. Kiper is just an idiot.

Wow...I can't believe nearly a dozen answers have been posted and just one named Mike Mayock. He is hands down the best analyst and is far and away the most knowledgeable and informative one out there. The NFL Network can't give him enough TV time.

McShay would be who I would draft.
