PS3 hacked, is my personal information still at jeopardy?

With the recent hacking of PSN, the information of every user is compromised.

I've already cancelled and ordered a new credit card, but now I'm worried about my windows live account. I changed the password, but could they still access. I would guess they only have access to the old password, since Windows Live and PSN aren't linked and updated in real-time.

Do you think they could have access to my newly changed password/account?

Should I make a new account?

What they said on their blog is that all the personal data was NOT encrypted and it was kept in a different set of data from CC (credit card) details, however, they said that they DID encrypt CC details.

You should check with your Credit Bureau, to check if any Purchases were made with your credit card, so that you won't be charged for something someone else bought. And I don't think you should erase your account. Just remove all your private information from your account while this problem is going on, and then you can just put it back. That's what I did with my account.

    Hope this helps! :)

You should be ok now just make sure to check your c.c statements. You changed your passwords then your ok. It's good to change all your passwords once in awhile.
