I know how you feel! I do this all the time as well, I do something silly, something I know I will regret, I end up regretting it, and then having forgotten how I felt I go and do it the same thing again maybe a week later, maybe even sooner. It seems so silly, and yet we continue to do this. But you forget that Christianity is a life long journey! Nobody converts and wakes up a "Good" person. Christianity is a life long journey, and even the people that have spent their lives dedicated to achieving/practising God's will, are going to have their weak points. Everything we do, everything we ever do will always be engrained with sin. We are wholly in debt to God and his graciousness, and there is nothing more too it. Whenever I feel a bit down about something I have ever done, I remember this fact, that when Jesus was up on the cross he had me in mind. God did not die just for humanity, he died entirely for every single person. If you had been the only human being in all of existence, Jesus still would have put himself up on the cross for you. He put himself up there, knowing full well the sins you have committed yesterday, knowing the sins that you will commit tomorrow, you have already been forgiven! And I think that is an encouraging thought. God does not want you to live a life burdened by guilt, he wants you to accept his grace, get back on your feet and have another go!

Start reading your bible and you will slowly start living a more righteous life. The bible is our "guide" to life.

    It says in Ephesians 6:1-3

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

If you keep sinning then ask the Lord in our prayers to help you not do what you do. Keep asking, seeking and knocking and you will receive in "due" time.

    In Phil 4:6-7 it says

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Now if you confess your sins daily to the Lord in your prayer time and you honestly are sorry; then the Lord truly forgives you.

    1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

There's a good book to read that is written according to the bible that may help you. It's called "Power of a Praying Teen" by Stormie Omartian. It will help you understand the power there is in "prayer".

    Hope all this helped :)

    May peace be on you.

First make sure that you are repenting to our true God, Creator of all that exist because if you repent on false gods or created gods then i don't think you'll get forgiveness from false gods who can neither benefit nor harm you. I was catholic christian but after seeking for truth, i accepted Islam. God is One and only not 1 of 3 but ONE. Worship the true God who was worshipped by all His prophets like Mose, Jesus, Noah, Jacob and others, peace be upon them all. I invite you to read God's last revelation to the His last servant and messenger, prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) to realize the true purpose and the criterion of right and wrong according to God, the One who knows what is best for us. You can get a copy of it from the ff site and another site will give you the index for easy research on topics that you want to know.

just try to repent yourself from these sins and ask God to help you avoid sinning again and to accept Jesus Christ (God the Son) as your Lord and Saviour and to accept the Holy Spirit to guide you, God will always forgive you for your sins as long as you're trying to live your life for Him

You keep doing it because your parents keep forgiving you.

Recognizing you have done something wrong is a step farther than most wrong-doers.

I wouldn't look for consolation in fairytales, however.
