How old can I start to stay home alone?

In some states it is definitely illegal.Your mom must consider you to be very responsible. Because of my relationship with my daughter, I probably would have taken her on vacation with me or had her stay with my mother, her dad or a family friend. Not so much because I don't trust her but that's two weeks for unsavory characters to realize that she is home alone.

If something should happen, however, your mom would be responsible because you are still a minor.Two weeks is an awful long time. Going on a shopping trip is a different matter but to leave a minor at home alone for two weeks? I was nervous when my daughter had to spend 20-30 minutes alone before i came home from work when she was 10. I'm even less comfortable about this for you, the more I think of it. no because necessarly yes you are aloud to stay home because you are old enough and can take care of ur self but make sure she leaves you money so you can go and buy food but knowing your age you probably wont. But then again i wouldnt know but i would do that just in case have fun if you get the house to yourself for two weeks.

It's a fine line, and 100% up to your parents. If you're throwing parties and the police get called, your parents can get in a lot of trouble. If they think you are responsible enough to take care of yourself and your home for 14days, then you should be fine.

It's probably fine. It might depend on where you live... in a city? in a small town? That might make a difference, but I'm sure you'll be okay.
