How can i get cute waves in thick, hard to style hair?
I have very think hair that barley goes around a pony tail 3 times. Id like to get cute natural looking waves in my hair. Any ideas? also my hair is medium-long length(goes 1/3 down my back) , with plenty of volume. I also have long layers which makes it harder to create waves. please help! i'm getting tired of just straighting my hair & it wont hold a curl. thanks (:

I yousto have hair like yours till I got short layers and thinned it out... Here is what I did before..
First I took a shower before bed and braded it.
The next morning I took it out and I diddnt brush it, I used a big tooth comb because if you brush it, it will get very frizzy :)...
Also what you can do is when you get out of the shower in the morning you can get some scrunching sea spray and gel. Put it a little bit in your hair (not to much or you will weigh it down!) And scrunch for a few min. And then don't touch it because it will get frezzy the more you touch it...
Hoped this helped!! :)

Use rollers. Roll your hair when it is wet or semi-wet. Alot of gals now roll their hair at bedtime and take them out in the morning.

hi, i'll try to help, here's a way that usually helps me:
1. take a shower at night
2. while your hair is wet, braid the hair (the number of sections is up to you, i usually do 4, 2 fronts and 2 backs)
3. sleep with the braids in
4. when you wake up, unravel the braids. hair is usually wavier :)
for a different look, try putting hair into 2 French braids and sleeping on it.
when you wake up, if you want less wave, lightly brush them out.
good luck :)
