It's about 24 minutes.

Pink Floyd is one of the only bands I can listen to lengthy songs without getting bored out of my mind.

BQ: Horrible. My parents are fighting and I'm moving far away from home because of it.

If Dream Theater's Six stages of Separation would not count variety (it extremely is an album cut up into songs, even though it extremely is meant to be one long music) then Symphony X's The Odyssey (24 minutes) and Dance club bloodbath's Hidden song (they recorded the entire ninety 9 Bottles of Beer on the Wall which includes 27 minutes).

You know, I've tried to sit through Dopesmoker a few times, and truth to tell I tend to get bored with it. Just not enough going on, IMO. (Of course, part of the problem is I don't smoke dope, so it probably loses something in translation!)

On the other hand, this track by the Japanese Black Metal band "SABBAT" has enough tempo and style changes to keep it interesting... very good thrashy old school BM clocking in at just under an hour:

The thing I discovered about Colors by Between The Buried And Me is that on a random playlist the tracks still kind of fade into each other in pitch, key and timbre.

I once listened to it for around 36 hours while on a Counterstike 1.6 LAN party rampage.

I think the longest song to have been going on is one where this guy wrote it for an organ - and every couple times a year (according to the sheet music) a musician goes out and plays something. It's been going on for a few years and has like 600 years to go.

Ha, mine's Dopesmoker too.

BA: I'm good. I got a 2 TB external hard drive, and when I re-added all my music, I had a bunch of duplicates, so I had to go through about 2000 songs, and delete the duplicates of them (thank God for the "Display Duplicate" button in iTunes).

I also went to a disappointing Mobile Food festival today. The it was taking 3 hours just to get orders in, and about another hour to get food!

There's probably been something longer that I listened to absentmindedly ( i have music in the shower and while internet surfing) but I will say The Last Baron by Mastodon. It's about 13 minutes.

Wait, actually I listened to Dopethrone (21 minutes) and Mind Transferral (15 minutes) too but the Last Baron is my favorite song that clocks in over 10 minutes. I've been using the word "minutes" too much.

Outside of entire concerts that I have on my iPod (which are shoved into one track), I'm not sure. I have some Eluvium songs that clock over 20 minutes.
