Better way to find Easter baskets?

My son is special needs. He has a hard time with the concept of hide and seek and we think that making him 'find' his Easter basket would take the fun out of it. But we still wanted to challenge him to receive it. (We are doing Easter late this year so his brother could be with us.) Any idea as to how we could make it fun for him to receive his basket without having to hide it would be great!

Leave a trail off jelly beans to his basket so he could follow the trail and get his goods.

Not every family has a tradition of hiding Easter baskets. You are trying to re-create something from your own childhood that you enjoyed. You must find a tradition that your son will enjoy.

Some families simply place the filled baskets outside of each bedroom door, to be found in the morning. Others place them on the dining room table. I suggest that you place your son's basket in the same location every year, so that he will know where to "find" it.

Hotwheels, Dollys, leap ropes, Pencils, even easter bunny ears that they placed on their heads. Basicly something that the age team of your newborn could want and one factor you're able to on no account EVER EVER forget approximately while filling easter baskets for toddlers vast hollow easter eggs :) your toddlers will like it and wont desire to look ahead to next year's easter bunny

Can he close his eyes and count? Have him close his eyes and count to 5 or 10 whatever he can easily do. Then, have him open his eyes and turn around. Voila! His basket has magically appeared right there.

Instead of a full basket...Put an empty one somewhere easy. Put an arrow pointing to where the grass may be found...and next to the grass and arrow pointing to an egg..and next to it an arrow....etc.
