Maths ellipse problem?
This question has 2 parts, but I can't solve the 2nd part.
a) Use implicit differentiation to find the derivative in ellipse equation 8x²+4xy+5y²=36
b) The ellipse in part A is centered at the origin and as a consequence its axis lines will have equations of the form y = mx. Now use the fact that the axes of an ellipse are perpendicular to its tangents at intersection, to find the equations of the axes of 8x²+4xy+5y²=36.
Please give your interpretation for the part B, tnx.

The origin is (0,0)
You have found the slope from part 1.
plug x=0, y=0 into the slope;
Then take its reciprocal and change its sign (slope of the perpendicular line). ----(1)
Equation of the perpendicular line is y-0 = m' (x-0)
y=m' x
where m' is given in (1)
