should i try out for Junior varsity cheerleading squad? or varsity?
i'm going to be a freshman next year, and i really want to try out for cheerleading, even though it would be my first time cheerleading.I don't really know any jumps, ive looked up some stuff and i can do a perfect scorpian and bow and arrow. i don't have a background in gymnastics, but i DO have a background in figure skating. so i have excellent balance, flexibility, strength and coordination. even though i have never done cheer, do you think i should try for the varsity squad? what are the requirements and do you think i would be at that level? thanks any cheer experts haha :)

JV. freshmen aren't even allowed to try out for varsity at most schools and the ones where you can, you don't make it unless you're AMAZING

jv because u haven't cheered and if your good enough they will put you on varsity and do camps and classes

junoir varsity sinice you have no background in cheerleading or gymnastics
