So...who's side do you come down on in the JPM/Newman thing?

The retaliation seemed a little excessive to me, but that's racing.

BQ; are you surprised Juan ran and hid later? He's never shy-ed away from confrontation before.

I don't care enough to pick a side, but I was entertained by the whole thing.

BQ; that was odd. Maybe there some is truth to the rumours about him and Stewart/Haas courting each other for next year.

Newman. He tried to tell JPM that he apologized for sliding up the track and pushing him into the wall but good old Montoya wasn't having any of that and just kept banging into Newman. I hope NASCAR had a chat with the 42 and a fine would be even better!

Newman's side he is my second favorit driver i haded the newman finished around the twentieth newman needs two stay in the top ten to gain points i have always been a tony stewart and newman pick

  • Ryan Newman. His was a racing incident and JPM was a bit obvious and aggressive. JPM ran because he knew Ryan would have ripped him a new one.

I am on Newman's side on this one.

Am I surprised by JPM running and hiding? Nope, I figure he must have known that he lost his cool and did not need to react the way he did. He probably also knew Newman would beat his *** back to Columbia. Newman may seem like a quite, nonthreatening person, but I have seen him lose it and I would not want to be on the receiving end of that.

Juan is a wuss. Have you ever met him? He's got to be at LEAST 4 feet tall. He's an arogant punk that came into Nascar from day one thinking that he was a race car driver. Sorry, maybe in another series, but not here. He's in top equipment, so he contends SOMETIMES, but he's usually putting around 20th. He's always been "boys have at it" until it's time to actually have at it. Then he goes back to his house and builds his little model planes. Newman did NOTHING wrong in either occurance, the first one was Juan making a bad call, the second one was Juan being ridiculous. Strictly based on Juan's prior run ins with folks, I'm on Newman's side, but in this instance, the facts speak for themselves. He at least needs to be put on probation, Nascar's slap on the wrist. What I'd really like is a 5th row seat at Darlington next week, because I'd have a really good chance of taking home a souvenir piece of Juan's car. I hope Newman knocks him into next week, because given the chance, you know Juan will. I want him to mess with somebody who's not afraid to knock him out, like a Brad K or Carl Edwards or Harvick. I'm not a fan of any of them, but I know that they'd dump Juan faster than a red headed girlfriend. Next week I might just become a Ryan Newman fan.

Newman didn't do anything wrong. The first wreck was Juan's fault. He tried to move over and didn't have Newman cleared. It was all downhill from there.

I don't care for either one they both have a horrible temper at times. I'm not really on either of their sides on this one. It is fun to watch though (:

BQ: Not really I'd be hiding too...lol
