What would be a better type of government?

so basically I'm a high school student and i was getting a little more in depth into governments and what people want. I want to know what type of government would work the best for a revolution in the US. the democracy isn't really working people aren't happy because they want more and more, people in finland are happy because they have a socialist government and the govt. pays for their studies all the way up to college and they are one of the happiest countries, in the other side we have the number 1 power in the world, the US but people aren't happy. If there was to come a revolution to make it better what would you people want. I know communism doesn't work democracy is not as great, monarchy's not the best option. i want serious answers please and explain. Thank you

i forgot to mention that i don't really like the system and that people believe the propaganda in tv so if there is any kind of revolutionary they would probably make him look like a terrorist what do you think about this

    Well, Finland is a social-democracy, rather than a truly socialist state.

    The Soviet Union gave full socialism a shot, but that quickly devolved into oligarchy, due to the decisions of government being made by the same set of hands as the decisions of what is to be produce. it is quite obvious that any government that tries to mimic that model will have similar results for civil liberties, and economic freedom. This is the trouble with concentrations of power in the hands of a few--a politburo--regardless of what name it goes by.

    in our constitutional system there are checks and balances, one of which is our Judicial Branch. The unfortunate turn for our system is that this branch has been corrupted by those who hate democracy--or what our founding fathers called republicanism. The father of our constitution described how such a government ought to operate;

    'The great object should be to combat the evil: 1. By establishing a political equality among all. 2. By withholding unnecessary opportunities from a few, to increase the inequality of property, by an immoderate, and especially an unmerited, accumulation of riches. 3. By the silent operation of laws, which, without violating the rights of property, reduce extreme wealth towards a state of mediocrity, and raise extreme indigence towards a state of comfort. 4. By abstaining from measures which operate differently on different interests, and particularly such as favor one interest at the expence of another. 5. By making one party a check on the other, so far as the existence of parties cannot be prevented, nor their views accommodated. If this is not the language of reason, it is that of republicanism." --James Madison; from 'Parties' (1792)

    I have no doubt that if the citizenry were enlightened enough to only elect those who held such truly American beliefs, we could have a republic indeed

    Go back to our republic. Go back to the constitution. Have elected officials that are in touch with the people. Abolish most of the federal laws and the IRS. Go back to the USA being a voluntary union of sovereign states.

    The Federal Governments' only role would be maintaining the military (no more bases everywhere though), printing money (end the Federal Reserve though) and that's it. Basically.

    The best system is a federalist republic, for the US. As for finland, I have no idea, but if it is made of states with different characteristics and features, that would be an argument for them as well. A federal government can do things the states could not do alone, but should stand back and allow the states to do their jobs well.

    We already have the greatest form of government ever designed by the human hand called the Constitution. We just need to follow it.

    It's true. A strict adherence to the constitution would be the best bet.

    The best system for the US would be a system of anarchy. Watch videos from these 3 channels that explains what anarchism actually means.

    National Socialism is the only form of government that works for nation and preserves the racial integrity of a nation. Multicult democracy like the US will destroy itself.
