Jesus talked about Baptizing us with the Holy Ghost and Fire?

Yes I have. It is as though a barrier between the Lord and me has been taken away and I began to better understand scripture and Him. Before it was like trying to understand something from the outside looking in. Jesus said he would send another who would be our comforter, our guide, our teacher. (See John chapters 13, 14, and 15) As for the moment it occurred, I felt overwhelmed by the extent of His presence around and within me. It is a free gift. Like salvation we merely have to desire it, ask for it, and allow God to do with you according to His will

Yes, I have received the Holy Ghost baptism. I was told the baptism by fire was a whole different experience but I'm not sure. But, I'll tell you that I have been through a great deal of fire!!!

No one ever feels anything physical when the Holy Spirit indwells them. Anyone claiming to have had 'feelings' that came from the Holy Spirit are deluding themselves. The Holy Spirit is just that, spirit, and not physical in any sense of the word. The Baptism of Fire was for the Apostles following our Lord's resurrection, not for any one today.

Yes! I have. The Holy Spirit is calm and gentle. But when it comes to a person with evil spirits inside him/her then the person starts to go crazy. The reason is because when the Holy Spirit clashes with the evil forces, it fights with it and ultimately, the demons flee away.

But after a while, you can be able to "control" the Holy Spirit when it comes. That only can happen if your heart is pure. If it isn't, then you will start to go crazy. But it depends too.. because sometimes when The Holy Spirit comes, you don't know it is with you but you are able to preach, be healed, etc. It all depends..we don't know much about it. Ask God to give you the Holy Spirit and you will see. It is a WONDERFUL feeling.

Not meaning to knock good intentions but can you show me where he said that you or any one else outside of the people living then that he was talking to. I believe you receive the Holy Spirit at Baptism as it is invoked at that time.

The Spirit of God indwells believers in Yeshua the Messiah. Scripture says that he's our down value or 'engagement ring' from God as his pledge to take us continuously into eternal existence.

um... it counts on the passage of the Bible. this could mean when you get to heaven... it could mean excepting God into ur life. it is the 2nd one... then yes. i have prayed for peace in myself and God has answered it. i truly believe in Jesus dying for our sins because God is so holy, no matter what we do we cant have a relationship with God unless we r either perfect and never sinned, or if Jesus died for our sins.

The Holy Spirit is part of God and is within us. (that part i believe, the Holy Spirit is kindof sketchy to some people)

Um... well, God has done so much in my life. I've been through so much and it IS worth it to stick to my faith even when u become a Christian, it is the hardest because we have to focus on godly things not wordly. As a Christian I am a witness on the earth to how dirty the world is. Remember that nothing lasts on earth. man CANNOT NOT go through difficulties, temptation, nor sin. we have all expereinced these troubles because God gave us choice and since after choosing the fruit over God we man have cursed ourselves! it is in man's nature to blame and hate God as well as to sin. how unholy we r! people rapped, murdered, ruining lives... wars, hate, etc. all these icky things. and yet God loves us so that He sent Jesus whom was born of a virgin and was PERFECT because He is God. He is a Christian and witnessed on the earth. all u have to do is confess ur sins to God and accept Jesus died for ur sins.

I haven't spoken in tongues ,but have felt the spirit within me. Its a feeling of assurance, and peace,love , your body feels like your in heaven , rejoiced,you experience a feeling as if your are in another world, yet its above you. many cry, others speak tongues not gibberish, many laugh , and others worship out loud. The feeling that there is a God , or a Great God.

Yup, the gifts of the Spirit have made me go on fire for the love of Christ and spreading His Truth.

Starting to get too warm for the fire maybe in some up-coming winter
