That pain neither existed yesterday or going to exist tommorow
every teachings in the world is to make you come here today and right now. Future is a possibility, thats there is to it. When you do your best today then future takes care of itself on its own. Dont live too much on the past nor the future, you might miss out on life.

Everything changes here.
It's a process & we are in it.
What I understood even 5 years ago many would look at & say was wrong.
LOL!
Yet, I look back at "the process" I have walked thru to see that my understanding was not so much in error as perhaps incomplete, & most likely will do the same in another 5 years as the process continues.
Mystic Shiva gives excellent advice, be here now.
What appears to be a process when seen thru the eyes of time is an event right now.
Be here now so you don't miss it.
One can't be fully aware of now if they are living in a dimly remembered past or imagined future.
