How would the world change if instead of preaching to someone?

You can love the hell out of someone but without the knowledge they need its pointless. Think of a spoiled kid. They were loved to pieces, so much so that the parents were afraid to actually teach or discipline them into a decent human being. IM not saying preaching is the same as raising someone above the status of a spoiled child, Im just illustrating that theres more to loving someone than a warm fuzzy feeling.

You most certainly act like a child. You definitely are . Children normally do not want to listen to any correction directed to them when they are doing something wrong. Children are not mature enough to care what goes on around them as long as they are enjoying whatever they want to do. The world is not within their scope of interest, while there are those that make it their job to inform people of many things to make them useful and happy towards their fellowmen Such, is Preaching and it certainly is important for each and everyone of us to listen and apply what we have learned for our personal betterment. Ignorance is not an excuse to keep the world from being a better place to live in.

The 2 are not necessarily separate. A lot of people preach because they love people enough to prevent bad things from happening to them.

I believe a lot more people would come to Christ. That is what we are supposed to be doing anyway, but a lot of Christians forget that the people they're preaching at are human and will respond to love more positively than hate.

Not all people succumbed God's love in their heart that preaching is necessary for them to understand and learn to talk, act et al, from their heart.

By love you mean hold back truth and knowledge of gods word? Honey that may make it easier in this lifetime but its not going to help them to the next. I'm sorry that this generation is so enlighten that everything offends them and they can't handle the concept that they are not made perfect without god.

The means wouldn't justify the ends.
