It's good he's finally gone, It sucks so many are celebrating the death of one person when nothing is really over with yet. I'd rather be celebrating when our men and women finally come back home. Let's hope this is a HUGE turning point. A good start to May in my opinion. What do you think the thoughts and actions of the soldiers that killed him were? Does anyone know how exactly he was killed and what all the events that happened before and after he was killed? I honestly hope they made it worth it.. Too bad we couldn't keep him alive and make his life a living hell.. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS PLEASE

Yeah, the Navy SEALs were engaged in a firefight, and killed Osama bin-laden, Also I heard about something about somebody that the terrorists used a woman as a human shield, and she was shot, but that's just rumor.
Although Osama is pretty much a Martyr, the terrorist extremists are just going to get a new figurehead, and do something else horrible now.
Anyway, this is still a significant blow on the war on terror, and I think It could help to tip the scales back into our favor in the war.

A news article I read stated that it was 20 - 25 Navy SEALs that engaged in a firefight with Osama bin Laden in a million-dollar mansion in Pakistan.

Osama bin Laden was killed in a fire fight. The attack was carried out by an elite force of US Navy Seals.

A team of secret Ops landed in a helicopter at a mansion in Pakistan where Bin Laden was, they raided the place and he resisted shooting at them so he was shot in the head and his body was taken into custody. No American troops were hurt in the process.

According to the news, Elements of JSOC, raided his compound in northern Pakistan. They got into a brief fire fight, after which ObL was found dead, and they claimed his body for retrieval.
