You cannot wage war on an idea like 'terror'. You can, however, wage war against a group.

Neither description, in my view, fits the nature of the war America has been fighting since 9/11 and will continue to fight long into the indefinite future. Al-Qaeda is merely one part of the international radical Islamist network, and this is no more a war on terror than World War II was a war against the blitzkrieg and the banzai attack. (Those were merely tactics used by the forces of Nazi Germany and imperial Japan). The real nature of this war is ultimately an ideological one against jihadism, in which terrorism is merely the tactic used by our adversary. And the radical Islamist groups are highly connected to one another in a way that transcends Sunni and Shiite divisions within the Jihad International. Both the Shi'ite Hezbollah and the Sunni Hamas, for instance, are Iranian clients, and Hamas has condemned America's taking down bin Laden (Hezbollah probably has done the same thing as well).

He's doing his shell game again, it's what he does. He wants to get ELECTED! We know by now he'll do all kinds of machinations and shovel all kinds of lies to get it. I don't care what he says any more, just watch what he does consistently. That's what tells the truth, he's ******* our country deliberately.
