Why is it that when I try to answer questions on Yahoo Answers, half the time after I hit the enter key...?

Glad to know it is happening to you too I thought it was my notebook computer and not that it is good that it is happening to you but we are in the same boat so it is Yahoo's fault.

Now the question is will they fix it?

Wish I had an answer to this question maybe someone will tell us it is all being handled.

I can say the same thing! It's not your computer. It's YA. They always have some glitches or problems of some sort bc it's such a huge web site and difficult to handle. And another problem just popped up the last few days or maybe 2 wks. When I choose an answer, it pops back to where it was unchosen. I think the first time this happened was at least a month ago, and this was a new thing. I mean I hadn't had this particular problem before and it happened again today just a second after I chose it, but sometimes it happens after I leave that answer and this causes confusion.

lol, this happens to everybody, next time just try to refresh the page when the messages appear, that should fix the problem, and load up the correct page.

I don't know, Yahoo! Answers still has a lot of glitches to fix.

Sorry to say there are a lot of glitches on the site, it was the same thing yesterday. If you go back and then click on the question again you manage to answer the question. It is tiring doing this all the time so I think it is time to log off and give up for another day.

Martin, I noticed this today. However, if you return to the previous screen and resubmit the answer, it nearly always goes through.

Apparently when the connection is slow, it tends to give you a false message about the question being deleted when it just means that no connection has been made.

Hi Martin, I see you already have some good suggestions (kudos to Bruce) but if all else seems to fail, or if you haven't got time to keep refreshing the page, quite often I will save my answer as a word.doc then come back later and C & P it.

One of the servers broke down causing all the glitches. Yahoo is working on it.

I have it happen also.I have sometimes clicked the back arrow then refreshed to find the question sometimes working.

I would complain, but Yahoo! is doing this all for free.

it's doing that today to me too, I'm sure it's just the site's fault for today and it may happen again.. that's the internet for you.
