The Most Interesting Black Metal You'll Ever Hear...?

I lied, it's not that great. But I had to get your attention somehow! Keep in mind I didn't say best, haha. But here's this extremely cool black metal band, from Spain I believe, that have some raw, tribal, evils going on. Enjoy...

Props to the guy above me for mentioning Vladimir Cochet, the brains behind Mirrorthrone, Weeping Birth and Unholy Matrimony, I almost admire him as much as I admire Neige and Blakkheim.

Naakhum. I can't say I've heard of these guys before. The first track seems somewhat atypical, considering how slow the tempo was. The second track..wait is this a joke? I should've known from when you said "kvlt".

    Nonetheless I'll answer the BQs.

    1. Need I mention Mayhem/Burzum? I'm trying to refrain from stating the obvious but I can't think of anything that can top: Dead's suicide, the band taking a picture of the scene and making it an album artwork to Dawn of the Black Hearts, Vikernes trying to out-do a stabbing that occurred a while back, claiming that the 20-something stabs were just in self-defence and later, his 21 year jail sentence. Other than the typical arson and animal-head-on-stake in concerts, it doesn't get any crazier that this. I can think of a couple of NSBM as well too (namely Absurd and the killing of that 15 year old) but Varg was the reason this "sub-genre" exists so..

    2. Absu comes to mind, Windir, Peste Noire, OMC.

I knew i replaced into in for something thrilling once I observed it replaced right into a mix of black steel and shoegaze and it truthfully replaced into thrilling. i do no longer understand how lots i might call them black steel however. Thats no longer an insult on the band, I do basically no longer see a great black steel impact contained in the sound of the band. This band is unquestionably great and nicely worth sorting out extra of however. wonderful locate!

Ah I love this band. I discovered them a few months ago.

BQ: Summoning, not for being ridiculous crazy, but for incorporating such beautiful elements to their music yet still having that black metal feel.

    BQ2: Either Ihsahn or Summoning.

MA: Eh, they're both alright. Maybe they'll grow on me over time, but I'm not crazy about them at the moment. Although, I did enjoy the second link slightly more than the first one.

    BA1: Eh, I dunno...Mirrorthrone?

    BA2: Ne Obliviscaris
