Help me write a poem about lost love?

Nadx A POEM ABOUT LOST LOVE

I've come into my beauty late.

Walked flat into a party

overdue. And only just begun

To drink the wine when everyone

begins to put on hats, and button coats,

check their watches, observe the time.

I've come into my beauty and love late

and I will not be staying long

and I know that I must make of Iittle

much-of the love that what comes easy

bides briefly and is swiftest gone.

Nadx- I wrote this in 1968 , I give you my permission to use it if you would like to .If you do not use it then please destroy it. May not to be passed on to any other person, The poem is for educational perposes only."Example of this is handing it in to a education person who is in that department like a teacher at school" .

With very few changes, "The", I'd love to set that to music. Great lyrics. I already sense a melody. I have finished one song among others, "A Heart Breaks So Quietly". Wish me luck on getting it published. One other, "A Place Of Love And Tears". You have deep feelings, huh?
