Why is this word isn't divided/separated by any space(s)?

Note: I'm not familiar with English language aside/beside how to make good sentence and memorizing some idioms. < that mean I might not understand if you use...hmm, uh...just put a simple but satisfying answer : )

    It is not separated because it is one word meaning 'a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust, causing inflammation in the lungs. If it was more than one word it would be separated but it is only one word so no spaces or anything are used.
