Rush Limbaugh said on his talk shaw that the reason Obama has to show the photos is because we the people want to . That is enough reason. He continued to say that gruesome photos of September 11 were released. This is highly controversial but I think Photos should be released because European people do not believe that Osama is dead.

he Chair of the House Intelligence Committee (a Republican) says it is a bad idea and I agree. Our soldiers are already at great risk overseas. Why do people want to INCREASE that risk by driving even more radicals into the arms of Al Qaeda by inflaming even more? I am pretty certain that the head of the House Intelligence Committee is privy to way more info on the risks than anyone on Y/A so is in a better position to give an informed opinion.

"Republican House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers said Wednesday that the Obama administration should not release the gruesome post-mortem images, saying it could complicate the job for American troops overseas. Rogers told CBS News he has seen a post-mortem photo.

"The risks of release outweigh the benefits," he said. "Conspiracy theorists around the world will just claim the photos are doctored anyway, and there is a real risk that releasing the photos will only serve to inflame public opinion in the Middle East."

"Imagine how the American people would react if Al Qaida killed one of our troops or military leaders, and put photos of the body on the internet," he continued. "Osama bin Laden is not a trophy - he is dead and let's now focus on continuing the fight until Al Qaida has been eliminated.""

i'm not a fan of obama either but i don't think that they should release the photos because it would just rile up the terrorists and bin laden sympathizers even more. on the other hand, the american people and every country that bin laden has attacked do have the right to see those photos.

You may see that Osama Bin Laden's death in December of 2001 was reported by FOX, Guardian, Telegraph, CNN and even the Pentagon.

So either we were being lied to back then by mainstream press and the Government, or else we are being lied to today about his recent ''second'' reported death. You decide.

Fabrication upon fabrication....and the public is continually misled and misinformed. Thus, we wave the banner for war on a fictitious enemy...Live in fear of a fictitious enemy...And celebrate when the fictitious enemy is reported 'dead'. lol

"Why is everything around obama always suspicious/controversial?"

Who are you comparing him to? What president in recent history hasn't been subject to suspicion, and surrounded by controversy?

no im not surprised i think this whole operation was fake!! the US government wanted to inspire patriotism by this action but instead led me and my other fellow american to distrust our government even more! there will be a time when this country is ran by the will of the people and not by some white ***-holes that put them selves in power and on that day there will be no more lies!

Why are the Republicans so excited about seeing a dead body? They sound more like the muslims at public hangings and beheadings.
