Is Obama's decision not to show Osama's photo smart or the Audacity of a Dope?
I think that Osama has been dead for years and the CIA got their hands on Osama's DNA, then ordered an attack on a terrorist camp to find a body to pin it on. I do not think that the SEALS had any knowledge of it, but there are many reasons to think that Osama has been dead for years.
The decision not to show the photos has NO valid reason behind it.
Not to inflame the terrorists? I think that a bullet in his brain would inflame them more than a picture.
Not to embolden the terrorists? Folding to pressure would embolden them by making them think (correctly with regards to Obama) that we are weak.
NOT showing the photos is, IMHO another reason to believe that Osama was dead long ago, and this is staged to try to salvage Obama's re-election campaign.
Tony...no, this is the perfect time to perpetuate the hoax. His numbers are spiraling down and the GOP debates are starting. If it were 100% open season on Obama, his numbers would drop below 35% in the next month...this is a very calculated timing for the hoax.
lovelyda...This is a man who is responsible for over 3000 US deaths on one day. There are many people who would gain closure by seeing that it was actually Osama. Now, if they were broadcasting them or putting them on billboards across the country, I could see your point, but releasing them to a location where you had to CHOOSE to go is the right thing to do.
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER "DUDE"
The scenario is actually pretty simple. We have a LOT of people combing Afghanistan. It is Islamic tradition that a body be BURIED (NOT AT SEA) facing Mecca. So, consider this...a tip off of where he is buried. The CIA exhumes the body and takes a DNA sample. They find out that it is him. The body, by now is a skeleton. Our intelligence has been looking at the compound because there is reason to suspect that he is there, but not enough to go in. Now the BHO team realizes that they have been watching a look alike. Probably the same one that made the last video (you remember, the one that was about 10-20 year younger that OBL).
So Obama orders a hit on that compound knowing that he has a look alike that he can pin the DNA evidence on. NOBODY is told that we know it is a look-alike. The SEALs do an excellent job and take out the look alike and everyone involved thinks that it truly is OBL...except the few closest to Obama and the few closest to Os

You make a good point. Remember this is the same CIA that Osama worked for He was with the CIA a few years. This is also the same CIA that did JFK in. Nope if the CIA is involved I don't believe anything they say

Your conspiracy theory is weak for five reasons.
FIRST
The timing isn’t ultimate for Obama.
It would have been better to stage the bin Laden killing around
three months before the election. It is too soon now.
This will start to fade from people’s minds in a few months.
Americans have a short attention span in case you hadn’t noticed.
SECOND
If bin Laden was dead many years ago and if our gov’t had
photographic evidence then the gov’t could have released it now
as being fresh.
If bin Laden had died many years ago and the gov’t did not have
a photo then they really couldn’t be certain that he was dead, and so,
Obama wouldn’t risk announcing that we killed him when there would
be a possibility that bin Laden could re-surface.
THIRD
Obama could have easily claimed that bin Laden’s head was completely
blown to shreds in this raid, beyond recognition.
Obama could have used another tall man’s body and said that it was bin
Laden’s. He could have quickly dumped it into the sea as was done and
stuck with the DNA claim.
So the photo issue never needed to come up.
FOURTH
If bin Laden was dead for "years" as you put it do you think that
Republicans wouldn't have tried to take credit for it? Do you really
think that they would have left this body available to an incoming
Democrat president who could potentially claim credit for bin Laden's
kill?
FIFTH
Obama suddenly obtained a DNA sample to match up with a body that
was on ice for years; really? And how could that happen? Give us an
example? Did the CIA recently come by a batch of his hair from a barber
shop at which he received a hair-cut many years ago? Did the CIA just
come across a sperm sample from a hooker who kept it in her fridge after
digging it out of her #*+ss/?
Let me guess; the DNA sample was locked up in a secret CIA vault but
Dick Cheney had instructed his CIA contacts not to release it to Obama
but damn it...it somehow got loose and Obama got hold of it.
Do you have any idea how ridiculous your delayed DNA theory sounds?
And you wish to characterize somebody else as a dope?

WHY CONCEAL THE PHOTO’S?
I know that you aren’t at a point in your life in which you can really digest
this but here it goes.
America does not wish to come across as a nation that kills and then gloats
about it. We don’t wish to come across as kill-happy and brutal.
George Bush [the father not the di_khead son] made the following announce-
ment following his successful military action in Kuwait during his Presidency:
“This isn’t a time to gloat.”
What that meant was that the US had launched a military action because it
was necessary and not because we liked it. And it would have been inappropriate
to show off; instead it was our duty to humbly conclude our mission with little fan-fair.
One day you’ll grow up and understand.

It doesn't really matter.
If the White House released photos, people like you would say that they were fake, or that the photos are of a person who is not Bin Laden.
Also, if your theory were plausible, then Obama would have perpetrated this hoax much closer to Election Day 2012. American voters have very short memories.

I don't think it matters. Those people who don't think that bin Laden is dead wouldn't believe that the photos are authentic. I really don't see the point of showing them.

It was DECENT. I don't know why every tom, dick and harry feels that they should be provided with such proof. releasing a photo of a dead man shot in the head for everyone to ogle is reprehensible. I dont care who he is.
