Harris Park and Blacktown both have large Indian communities and are within your price range.

There are no Indian Communities as such in Australia but if you go online and look for Sikh temples locations the surrounding suburbs to that may have higher than average Indians living there. Also furnished apartments are not a cheap option - they are at the higher end of the scale ($600-1000K a week) and are in the city not the suburbs. $300-350 a week is the low end of the unfurnished scale - you will be looking at least 20km from Sydney for this amount.

There are a number of indian "real estate" magnates that have alot of properties but they charge $200-300 a person per week and put 8-12 people into a 2-3 bedroom apartment - do not fall for those scams.

It's not like there's suburbs reserved just for Indians or Caucasions or Africans or Chinese. You're going to have to "slum it" with the rest of us...

Don't know if you'll get much for $300 - $350 per week. You maybe able to get partially furnished but not fully...

Sorry love but we don't have "Indian community suburbs" in Australia. If you are moving to Australia then why not try to get along with people who aren't Indian? Surely it isn't that hard to blend into society.

i believe the Indian community is in India NOT Australia

if you are going to come to Australia WHY hang out with people from India?

it defeats the purpose of coming to AU

for that little amount of money you would have to share with other people in a poor suburb. Try moving to a rural area where you would have a much better experience.
