How to remove a fan clutch on a 2000 dodge ram 1500 van?
I need to replace my water pump on my Dodge Ram 1500 conversion van and I can't get the fan clutch off I have the special Spanner wrench but I can't get it to stay on is there anyway to hold the water pump pulley.

If you leave the serpentine belt on, use a wrench on the belt tensioner. Apply more tension (opposite direction of taking the belt off). That should hold the pulley tight enough to break free the fan clutch.
