Why do liberals blame capitalism for the faults of man?

First off, there is no such thing as a perfect system, simply because we are not perfect people. But to blame capitalism for greedy people using their wealth for corruption, is displacing blame. Capitalism is faulty by nature because it is man-made, since we are faulty by nature.

Capitalism allows for individuals to accumulate wealth to dispose how they feel. Just as it is easy for a wealthy person to use his wealth for corruption, it is just as easy to use it for good. Bill Gates donated a half of his fortune to AIDS research. Jon Huntsman, who is also a billionaire has vowed to invest every last dollar into helping others with cancer treatment. Disregarding all of the advancements and great things that have come from American capitalism, and only focusing on the negative aspects of it, is just so disingenuous.

Update:

@ Jason K – Typical liberal troll, ignore everything I said so you can wallow in your own self-pity and wonder why you will never successful in your life.

@ phil7488 – what you described was not capitalism, it is corruption between individuals and government. Do you seriously not see the difference? Something like that can, and does, exist in every society, hence, it being the fault of man.

Because like all good liberals, it is much easier to blame "the rich", than to work hard and make something of themselves (while they try and take every government entitlement they can).

Also the liberal politician's use this claim for those on the public dole to gain "popular" votes. Although many of them are very rich. They know how to "cheat the system" since they are in it.

They have no clue what they support. They have no clue about the success or failure of different systems. They are sheep that say what their leaders tell them.

They bash Capitalism because it's not perfect, but totally skip the comparison that clearly shows free market capitalism is the best system by far for economic prosperity. They also skip the fact that the Constitution of the US has proven itself in spades, better than any other system in history. It keeps government off our backs except to facilitate the economy by keeping basic laws that keep those who would commit basic crimes from stealing, hurting, killing, or defrauding others.

I mean look at their reasoning? It's head up the *** reasoning. Indoctrinated one sided tunnel visioned reasoning ... not really reasoning at all, it's indoctrination they use, not reason.

What works better Truth Seeker? Have you sought that truth out yet? What kind of Collectivism has yielded a more productive economy that moves by the production of wealth by the people? Without outside windfalls of course because they are not product of the system. What's the best system?

Scotso, giving the Feds power to regulate banks beyond the basics gives them a license to steal as they did when they forced banks to make bad loans which ended in disaster. That's the product of the power to over regulate. Consumers choice is enough regulation on most areas. Competition for business is the best regulating situation going. Of course fraud is illegal as in all areas of life, or it should be.

Jason, when the state has the power to steal then they do. Better to allow accumulation naturally than to allow politicians to steal. The richest poor live in places where the gap between rich & poor is largest. To decrease that gap means making them even more poor. That's not fair, it's just stupid.

    Deregulation = capitalism.

Deregulation lead to the financial disaster.

Therefore, capitalism helped cause the financial disaster. What does capitalism rely on more than any other system? Mans decisions. The mere fact that it is man made doesnt mean we should blame capitalism

You named a mere 2 people that freely give their money away. There are 398 other rich oligarchs that keep the money for themselves. And you conmen are perfectly fine with them doing so. Freedom for them and not for anyone else.

One day, the common people will just get so tired of this "let me keep my money to myself" rhetoric and we will find someone to represent us in the government who will force you to pay the same amount of taxes middle class people have to pay.

Socialism (in Russia) was a system based of of mans mistakes by making everyone get paid the same. Does that mean we should blame the government officials and not socialism? You seem fine with blaming socialism for all our problems.

Capitalism is driven by the profit motive. A free market is much too untrustworthy without proper regulation. This is why big business pays lobbyists to persuade politicians to pass legislation or deregulate what they see fit. It's a blatantly corrupt system because the government bends over backwards for big business (lest we forget the bailout), and doesn't look out enough for the slipping middle class because we can't afford to lobby politicians to get what we want. Why give tax breaks to a big corporation who sends jobs oversees?

Before Gates donated 1/2 his wealth, he had $55,500,000,000, After his magnanimous donation, He was down to $55,300,000,000. That donation and taxes killed him.

The tendency of wealth and power to accumulate in the hands of an elite few in Capitalist markets is not caused by Man's flawed nature.

    Its caused by Capitalism.

    EDIT:

I read everything you said. You're still wrong.

Man's flawed nature is not responsible for the fact that Capitalism is motivated by profit, which in turn perpetually compels the Capitalist to seek more.

Man's flawed nature is not responsible for the fact that Capitalism allows an individual to accrue undue amounts of wealth and power.

Man's flawed nature is not responsible for the fact that, once an individual has accrued undue amounts of wealth and power, it is exceedingly difficult to execute any legitimate authority or justice over that individual.

Man's flawed nature is not the cause of any of those things, Capitalism is.

Capitalism allows an individual to achieve such incontestable amounts of wealth and power that the really nasty sides of his/her flawed, Human nature are made so much worse.
