Can someone please prove to me the existence of God?

No, sorry.

No god exists. It's a simple fact of life we all have to come to realize eventually.

Some will say: Life exists, and therefore God exists. To them, life is evidence of God.

Personally, I believe the religious/spiritual experience is a real one, and is something cultivated in the mind and soul of a persons' life experience: what you are willing to accept or reject does not make it any more or less true.

Mother Theresa spent her entire life looking for Christ "in the poorest of the poor", and did a great work of charity. Is this proof of God? Or proof of one woman's faith in God?

We can look to strange unexplainable occurences and find something there that is greater than ourselves and say: "This is God"

But we do not really know God, or even what God is. Is He simply a feeling or emotion we experience? Is He outside of us? Larger than the Universe...so large that we cannot define Him? (Like 4 blind men and the elephant?)

A bird can see more of the spectrum than we can....this alone points out the limitations of our senses.

I could say to you that if you practice a religion and keep a log of your religious experiences, then come back to me and see if there is any progress, again, does this prove God, or simply proves religion a means of taming our spirits....

edit: speaking to the schizophrenia as a comparison, I need to point out that this is a physical disease of the brain (a chemical imbalance), not an emotional one. People who have schizophrenia have this genetic "abnormality" transferred to them by a parent....and to infer that schizophrenic people are incapable of prayer because of their handicap is actually a prejudice.

Are you inferring that schizophrenics are somehow deficient in spirituality or their spirituality is negated by their disease? There could very well be atheist schizophrenics, but altogether taken, they are first human beings. You give a bad example.

I will not try and be harsh but if you can't believe in Jesus and the word then you won't believe. He walked the earth preforming miracles and still people did not believe. Now there should be no need for proof. The Word should be enough. Creation ( I know you said not to say that) should be enough. Jesus coming, living, dieing and resurrection should be enough. Jesus is a man...He's alive and He is not staying in Heaven forever! Blessing!

Where did all of this come from. Another thing that evolution or creation says that ever since the dawn of time there was one single piece of matter that started everything. How would that be possible without the existence of God? If that piece of matter was not a somehow part of spirit than how come we have thoughts and no morals in life? If we were just made up of atoms, like would be boring and we would be robots.

Your life remains unmade.

but what is it about you that makes you think you are entitled to have proof delivered to you ?

Im being serious, Im sorry if you got offended, but just who are you anyway that you feel like you are supposed to get something of cosmic value just because you want it ?

Well in theory; we all perceive that matter is real, well what if these realities are all sensations (example: I feel, I touch, I see, I taste, and I smell) created by the mind, therefore nothing is real, because we are not able to perceive everything at once. Except, if our mind is within God's mind since he perceives everything at once, so in that term the only thing that is real is God.

Only YOU can accept the existence of God. You may have already proved it by simply asking this question!!
