Royal House of Stewart?

First let me say i love the Queen and the royal family. And since the Queen is a descendant of King James.Who himself is a direct descendant of King David.I believe in the monarchy. But since William has disgraced the royal line by marrying the commoner daughter of a former air hostess.I must say.Is it not time to seriously now consider bringing back the more direct line of King James to the throne.Which of course would make Franz Duke of Bavaria King ,or even maybe His Grace the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensbury. The Duke is a descendant of The Duke of Monmouth the illegitimate son of Charles ll.Yes i know the whole catholic, protestant thing. And let me say i am not a catholic. But let us not forget that George l was chosen after skipping some 30 members of the Stuart line.We would just exchange one German family for another one.One that is MUCH closer to King James. This Middleton person is completely unacceptable to give birth to a possible future Sovereign.Imagine the disgrace of having a Sovereign with a Middleton family tree.

Yes indeed dear Hector, one certainly shares your misgivings. You know, the thought of our future King having a trolley dolly for a mother-in-law brings on the most severe palpitations for yours truly. Ever since the marriage, one has felt the stresses and strains of the contemplation of such an occurrence having the most egregious influence on ones health. One shall have to consult with ones physician first thing on Monday morning.

The royal website says that it was not 30 members but more like over 50. Franz Duke of Bavaria is in his 70's. It would be better to skip a few generations and have a personal union with the crown of Liechtenstein. The heir is now only a teenager, but when QEII dies he should be roughly age 30.

It's not a bad option for an king of an independent Scotland. It would be a personal union between the crowns of Liechtenstein and Scotland.

First, how do you figure the British royal family is "direct descendant of King David"??? Where did THAT untruth come from???

Second, how do you figure you could bring a "more direct line from King James to the throne" than the most direct line there ever was?

Oh, wait, you said it is NOT time do seriously think about doing the impossible.

HOW do you figure that Prince William has "disgraced" the family by marrying for love?

Direct lines of royalty don't include illegitimate children...or did that piece escape you?

    I think you're a crackpot!

Sorry, but the illegitimacy of Monmouth knocks the Duke out of the running. And by the way, Monmouth's mother, Lucy Walter, had an unfortunate reputation.

And since Catherine Middleton's ancestry, like that of many Brits, can be traced back to royalty, I don't see the problem.

Incidentally, how do you think many of these titled families got their start? They didn't just spring up out of the ground, bearing their titles and with blue blood running in their veins, by divine decree. Centuries ago, they were nobodies, because the fortunes of families have risen and fallen over the years. The family of Diana Spencer were untitled farmers. And it is quite possible for a manual laborer today to be a descendant of a titled family with even some royal blood in the upper branches of his family tree.

People like you is what has been wrong with the monarch for centuries, just because someone is not an aristocrat, it didn't make them any more or less able to bear an heir. I can't believe the disrespect that your showing to Katherine Middleton. Who are you to look down on royalty?
