Identifying left and right earbuds?

So i just got a new pair of Skullcandy In-ear earbuds, but this series of earbuds doesn't have the left and right stamped on the buds, so how do i figure it out?

Another thing that bothered me was that when i tried to test it by taking an audio editor, panning the left and right sound slider for a stereo song doesn't make a difference other than slightly decreased volume. Is this because both buds are stereo?

Look at the bud from the back and u can see the logo on the back side, right under there, where the wire connects to the bud, look at the wire there should be a R or L.

Source(s): I own skullcandy buds too, and had the exact same problem

if a pair of earbuds don't have the left and right letters, then its likely that there's no difference between the sound that comes out of them. they're probably the same.
