the cyst would have nothing to do with it, pregnancy has its own hormone it gives off, but it is possible that you tested to early. try it again, if its still a negative make an appointment with your obgyn. good luck

Take another test just to be sure. Sometimes the hormones needed to make a positive reading are not present until some time after the missed period. Do not worry about cysts or anything like that until you have a doctor check you out.

You could be pregnant.. with both my girls a test said negative when I was five weeks.. wait another week.. does the sex add up?? I say wait and see what happens

normally a test won't test positive till you've missed your period. if your breasts start growing, nipples darken and get larger and you continue to be tired and crampy, definitely see a doc!
