Is my power socket overheating?

My fridge is very loud.

Right above the power socket it is connected to, I have noticed a film of black soot on the tiles. Am I right to worry? I have had an electrician look at the fridge because I worried about the noise. He said it was fine.

    It might not be soot. It could be mold if it is behind a refrigerator and there is a ice maker or water to it.
