iTunes cant find my external drive now.?
I put all my music into iTunes by dragging and dropping from my external drive. I accidentally started itunes without the external drive plugged in. Now even after rebooting with the drive plugged in and restarting iTunes, I keep getting the "file cannot be found" error.
What do I do?

Delete all files in itunes then do the import to itunes to put music in there and edit the option to automatically put into folder in ur computer so that it wont say "file cannot be found" anymore

First thing you may want check at least if you are using windows is that the external drive is being mounted as the same drive letter. For example if you dragged all your music to iTunes while you external drive was drive "E", and now it's drive "G" iTunes won't find it. Go to one of your songs in iTunes right-click get info and see where iTunes thinks the file is. If it's a drive letter mismatch then to fix this right-click my computer go to manage. Then under storage -> disk management find the external drive right click and choose to change the drive letter.
If the path iTunes is looking for exists than iTunes will recover on its own.
