I have a 2 tb external drive that has all my music and photos on it. The USB part of it is now dead. No light comes on and no access to hard drive. I removed it from the enclosure thinking that I could just connect it to the internal SATA connection inside my PC. Now anytime the former external drive is connected the PC refuses to boot up and acts like there is no drive connected.

They pass out and dream of what is happening to them 4 years in the future. I don't think they solved it before the series was cancelled.

I came into two different places after having fasted for 12 hours. Both refused to do the test because I had "fasted too long." I always thought that the ten hours mentioned on the lab order was a minimum and was proud that I had gone a little longer just to make sure.

I am 58 and have been totally disabled for about 20 years. Most of my working years were under the Civil Service Retirement System, which does not count for SS. Because I would apply for disability only, does this change the quarters requirement?

I am from the US and have been here in Cavite Province, Philippines for a couple of years. A month ago, my sponsor suggested we buy a "fully automatic washer/dryer" which he thought would cost around 45k Php. I have spent alot of time in Abenson looking at these things. I see the big old American style where one big unit washes the clothes and another one dries them. I also see the over-under apartment size, but I can't find a "fully automatic washer/dryer". That description sounds like one machine where you put your dirty clothes and later take them out and wear them, with no line drying required.

Also I see alot of plastic washers with one or two vertical drums. I dont have a clue about those.

A language and cultural problem prevents getting any advice in the store. They dont know what I am talking about and vice versa.

So, is there a device that is truly a "fully automatic washer/dryer" or are we stuck taking the clothes out after the spin cycle and hanging them up? I am not complaining about having to do that, I just want to know what to expect.

I run three identical monitors at 1280 x 1024. Regular desktop background pixs are just repeated on each screen. I have read that the way to spread one pic accross all screens is to use the "tile" setting and have each pic exactly the right size to fill all three screens.

I need to know how to convert a regular image to be 3840 x 1024 to cover all the screens. I understand that the resolution and quality will be poor, but oh well.

Ok. I started my Yahoo account in 1998 and used it regular till now.

About a year ago I moved to Philippines. Now people tell me that their emails to me from the US are being returned as deliverable. I still get some email so I know it is working.

I finally got a chance to see one of the Mailer Daemon undeliverable notices.

My actual email is michaelsgreene@yahoo.com These return notices claim that the emails were sent to michael.greene@rocketmail.com. This is not an email that I have ever used and I don't understand.

Any ideas.?

Preachers are always saying that people in hell are always burning but never consumed. I need a real legitimate source for this quote, preferably from the bible or other religious texts. I am not interested in the burning bush.

I put all my music into iTunes by dragging and dropping from my external drive. I accidentally started itunes without the external drive plugged in. Now even after rebooting with the drive plugged in and restarting iTunes, I keep getting the "file cannot be found" error.

What do I do?

XP Home SP3

HD crashed. Old install disk scratched wont work. Install from a new OEM XP Home disk. Interface was Vista like this time. Spider Solitaire is not present.

I must have the actual Windows XP version of it Spider Solitaire..

I flew to Manila in September. I wasn't sure how long I would stay so I booked my return for next July. I have now decided that it is time to go back home (Seattle) but I am stuck. It was an Orbitz booking but there is no way to change my reservation online and my phone line is so bad, I cant the through the voice response phone system.

Can I just go to the airport here in Manila and wait for there to be an open seat? I think people do this but I don't know how. Do I check in my luggage and wait for a seat? A detailed answer would be great.

I have just move to Manila. I bought a load for my Globe phone from pinoyloadstation and that worked ok. Now I have used up all the texts and can't send out. I loaded again from the same place and I still don't have any txt available.

I have more minutes than I will ever use, but I need txts. How do I buy just texting?

Windows XP SP3 ASUS P5B SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio (Analog Devices)

I installed a Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 Headset which made itself the default audio device.

I want to be able to switch from my regular speakers to the headset without having to change it in Sound and Audio Devices Properties and REBOOTING each time.

Better yet I would like to have both the speakers and the headset on all the time.

Any ideas.

I worked for the Federal Government and was injured. I have been receiving monthly benefits from the US Department of Labor, Office of Worker's Compensation Programs (OWCP) for 16 years.

Assuming that I remain disabled, do these benefits continue for life, or must I switch to a disability retirement when I reach a certain age?

I am traveling to the Philippines in October. For immigration purposes, I have to show a return ticket in three weeks in order get a visa. What happens if I decide I want to stay longer? I understand that I need to extend my visa, but what about the return ticket? I believe that if I miss the return flight, I can go to the airport later and use that ticket to fly standby when a seat becomes available. Is that right?

But when you shoot them they only disappear when there are two or more of the same color?

I have a invidia 8600 gt running two monitors.

I now have a third monitor that I want to add.

The 8600 uses the only agp slot and all I have left are pci slots and two pci express connections.

ASUS P5B XP home Core 2 Duo,.

I put a Trident 3d image 975 pci card in and it has problems with the existing card and won't run.

I know one option is to get a three monitor video card but I don't want to spend the money.

How can I make the three monitors work?

I had an nvidia 8600gt graphics card running two monitors. I just purchased an additional monitor and I am trying to use it with Trident Accelerated 3d Image 975 video card. Either video card works well with the monitor(s) connected to it, but when I leave both video cards in the third (new) monitor stays black. In the device driver list the Trident card has a yellow triangle by it, however when the Trident card is running on its own, the triangle is not present. Do I need a different video card or is something else wrong.

I read that Windows XP can run 6 monitors at once.

I want to go from XP to Windows 7 and I'm especially interested in running the Aero interface. The w7 advisor says my video card will not support aero, but doesn't really say why.

The card supports the hardware requirements so I think the problem may be here:

"Aero also requires a DirectX 9 class graphics processor that supports a Windows Display Driver Model Driver, Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware, and 32 bits per pixel."

My card supports DirectX 10 but I don't know about the other two things.
