Nope. They'll just set a new date, claim to have spoken to Jesus and he wants to reschedule, etc...
Source(s): I think therefore I am Atheist. - Anonymous1 decade ago
Headline question: Who else thinks? That suggests you do, but the rest of your question doesn't bear that out. I suspect your understanding of what atheism might be is as good as your understanding of the difference between adapting and adopting.
Adapting atheism is an interesting concept. I suppose we could whittle it down and find something useful to do with it.

The guy that came out with may 22 can not say it will be the then.
Nobody knows when the end will be. only God knows.
I am a Christian and I don`t believe we as Christians should believe every doomsday prophecy out there.
The end will be when it will be. It can be right now or a million years from now. No human knows.

Why not say converted to atheism, for it is a belief as much as Christianity, Judaism or Islam. What is special about May 22?

Now why would anyone think that? I hope you aren't referring to the stupid assumption that the world is ending on May 21st! No one knows when the end will come. I wish people would stop with all the ignorance!

no one knows when the end of the world will happen. all Christians who read their Bibles know that the one and only God only knows the last day. so true christians do no believe in made up dates.
- SlugsieLv 71 decade ago
Nope. Because any that believed will just do what they have always done. Make up an excuse, and then predict another future date.

There is a weird psychological effect that actually makes the believers go into the shell more when they have a missed prediction.

There's more fun in screaming about the end of the world than there is going "Uh, noooo ..."
