i hate to rain on your parade, but did you know about LA's strict pharmaceutical laews?
cause normally, when people have anxiety disorders, the best medication to treat the symptoms with a class of medications called 'benzodiazepines'. you may have heard of some of them - xanax, valium and klonopin are all benzodeiazepines.
but unfortunaltely, the state has passed a law that anyone caught buying, selling, possessing, or using these drugs, is facing a felony - 5 years minimum and 10,000 fine.
any doctor practicing in LA faces the same sentence, plus losing his medical license.
they say thre reason they passed this new law was because of ho
w addicting these medications are, and the recreational use of these drugs is a serious epidemic.
htey may only prescribe medications that have no recreational use, such as buspar or vistaril.
i have severe anxiety and i have panic disorder. xanax and valium were the only pills that could treat my disorder, so i ended up mvoing to PA, just to get proper treatment.
good luck!!! i hope the placebo medicaitons can help you!!!

It depends on how bad your anxiety/ depression problem is. If you are having problems getting out of bed, eating too much or too little, and avoiding life, then the doctor might prescribe medication along with therapy. Medication alone isn't usually prescribed. Talking with a professional not only allows you to get some ideas on how to handle the stress and worry, but they can assist your doctor in monitoring your medication. If taking a drive to see your best friend will help, then do it. Maybe setting up a weekend once a month to go see your best friend will be just what you need.

Hi there, I just laugh about my past 3 years of panic now. I was not able to go anywhere without carrying xanax. Fear of having another attack was the most important subject of my days. When i first found joe barry's web site i started to cry because of my happiness.

IMO valium type are usually best and am astonished about LA law
vistaril, an antihistamine will help depending on how much it sedates you
buspar IMO is useless, helping no more than placebo effect
try seeing an ordinary doc for a prozac type med, these often fix anxieth and depression, also ask for vistaril to take as needed
