How do I make a template- MS WORD?

How do i make a usuable template for MS Word- using a current printed contract that we already have.

We are a small business and I need to e-mail some of these estimates- well I put it as a water mark, and it's to light... I need it to look like a regular estimate.. so how does this work?

Update:

Okay- I have an actual contract (3 page carbonless). I scanned it to my computer- from the one that I scanned I want to make a template. I want to make it a template so I can type on top of it, and email it as though it were the actual contract... Hope this clears any questions....

HOW DO I DO THIS?

It is not clear what you are trying to do but I am answering from what I understand.

Create text box from a drawing toolbar

Type everything on the text box that you want to make a background

Right Click on the text box then choose format text box

on the layout tab select behind text option

you also need to choose nofill and noborder from the color and lines tab
