I am not too sure what to tell you.. as I am a geek and a historian thus what I like no one else does. =o) (I could give you the American Civil War tour but I doubt that you would like that.)

There was a restaurant called "Poe's" that I used to love, right on Atlantic Avenue. But, in all honesty when I was younger and hitting the beach for the most part I'd just go into some of the walk in restaurants. Some of the cheaper ones have just a walk up window which I liked. (Made it easier to grab some food and just sit on the beach with my date.)

The sun sets in the west. Thus don't make big plans with a date to sit on the beach and watch the sun set... Don't ask me how I made such a brain dead mistake, romance does that to a guy at times. =o) (Seeing the sun rise is pretty neat though.)

The majority of the tourist district is along the beach. You can easily walk it if you are active. There are so many shops and restaurants along the beach and I can't even think of what to tell you about where to eat or where to shop. Things have turned over a lot there recently with the recession/depression that we have gone through. Again, Atlantic Avenue has most of the restaurants and shops and amusements, but the next block over is Pacific Avenue and that has a lot of good stuff also. West of that is Arctic Avenue and that becomes rentals or residential.

Mt. Trashmore Park used to be the place to hang out at off season... but that was years ago and I'm not too sure what it's like now.

i might propose the two Virginia coastline or Chesapeake. The rents somewhat extra much less costly in Chesapeake and it quite is extra rural, yet mind-blowing. in easy terms provides quarter-hour or to be able on your husbands morning commute to artwork. you will no longer discover lots in that funds interior the Hamptons. that's an particularly wealthy and unique area. So is Newport information. i does not evan evaluate residing in Norfolk or Portsmith. way too lots crime in those areas.
