Is it just me or does the "eat healthy and exercise" ******** not work?

Sometimes dieting with few calories(1200 1500) or dieting for an extended period of time can cause your metabolism slow down or try to hold on to fats so you can survive through scarce resources.. This happened with me.. I chilled with my diet (because I was tired of the constant losing battle) and my weight just started dropping.. Just keep the exercise and STOP dieting, counting calories, eliminating carbs or fats.. Your body and brain needs carbs too and healthy fats.. Don't eat fast food, fried foods processed meat products, processed sweets and hydrogenated oils.. Eat whole foods and use grilling, baking, steaming and sauteing to cook them .. Try to eat salad with every meal not because it's low calorie but because you need the nutrients and you bowel needs fibers.. Soon enough you body will get out of starvation mode and you'll start losing weight..

It works better than those fad diets that will help you lose weight by cutting your calorie intake to a level that will slow down your metabolism and make you gain weight faster once you start eating "normally" again. If you find something better, let us all know.

It's impossible to not lose weight by eating healthy and exercising. If you're still not losing weight, or it's not helping, you're probably not eating as healthy or exercising as much as you require.

It works, it just takes time and motivation. You have to eat the right foods, and do the right workouts.

It works for me, some people take longer to see results than others though so be patient and stick to it :)
