What bra size am I really?

I'm really confused about my bra size :s I usually wear a 34DD but I've lost weight and they dont fight right.

At Victorias Secret the woman at front told me I was a 36B, but then they measured me again later and said I was definitely 34DD, even though the waist band is way too big! I tried the 32DD but the cups were too small and everything was just narrow. 34D, the cups too small, band too big.

I went to Nordstroms and the woman there measured me and said I was a 32F. Then some of the online calculators say I'm like a 30G??

I'm trying to buy a sports bra online and have no idea what size to get, because I've been told just about everything.

My ribcage is 28", my bust is 34-35".

Thoughts on what size I should buy?

Based on your measurements, I would say try a 28E (UK sizes). If the 34DD cups fit you, however, I would suggest starting with a 28FF and going from there. If you prefer your bands looser, you may feel more comfortable with starting with a 30F. You can find these sizes at Nordstrom, so I would recommend going back there and trying on a bunch of bras from Freya and Panache (British brands) and see what fits.

All bra stores will tell you something different, so you can't rely on them. If your ribcage is a 28, you wouldn't fit into anything above a 32. And if the DD cup is too small, then you would be an F. So, the lady at Nordstroms was probably right (they only hire professional tailors, so they usually are!). From my experience, the online calculators are always wrong. Even though they give you the correct size, most stores do not use an exact method so their sizes will be different.
