We are going for two days for a college orientation. We're looking for something inexpensive, but clean and safe. It doesn't need to be fancy since we won't be spending much time at the hotel. We just a clean, safe place to sleep. Anyone know of a good place to recommend, or of any places we should avoid?

Red Roof Inn & Suites Corpus Christi
The staff was really nice and helpful, the room was extremely clean, and the little extra things we needed was provided us free of charge. I would definitely stay there again if I come to Corpus Christi, and would not hesitate to recommend it. Cost about 70-80.
Econo Lodge And Suites
The hotel pool needed the spa heater fixed but that was the only thing that was wrong about this stay. From the housekeeping staff to the maint. men, everyone was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. Cost about 62-72.
Microtel Corpus Christi/Aransas Pass TX
We had rooms w 2 double beds. Rooms are kinda small, but beds and pillows are very comfortable and clean. We were also impressed with the bathroom. Truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, well maintained and the staff was polite & accommodating. The breakfast was decent for the price. 79-89.
