Is THIS ok to do when sending out your ACTING RESUME?

I've been looking up some acting agencies to send my resume out too. I was wondering if I am able to send my resume to there email? Some agencies say its ok to email a resume, while others say not to. But if it doesn't say if its ok or if its not okay, could I try? Thank you!

Yes, it is ok. If they say it is on their website. Then you may do so. If it doesn't then don't, send it by normal mail. I've submitted a headshot and resume before by email, and they replied back to me in 2 weeks saying they'd want to meet with me. So in a way it's almost faster, considering they don't have to deal with loads of paper every single day to also sort through. Also it takes less time. So if they like you, they can imeadiately reply back :) Good luck, hope this helps :)

Also make sure to put a RECENT photo of yourself in the email, because they don't want someone who looks completely different from when they submitted by email. Then met in person and they don't know who it is (if that makes sense). So make sure it looks like YOU now :) And be sure to list all your correct contact information, like your email and phone number :) Good luck :)

you need to send exactly what they ask for. most places don't read unsolicited mail, so you need to make sure the places your sending mail to are asking for it. if agencies are looking for new clients, they will put contact info. on their web sites. if their web sites say nothing, they aren't looking for new clients, most likely.
