18" lake trout, in a place in Idaho called Morning Lake, about 30 miles of bad road off the beaten path. I was newly married, less than 2 years and in the Navy, and in training for Nuclear Power in Idaho Falls, actually a few miles away on The National Reactor Testing Station where the Navy ran 2 prototype reactor plants for training. The 3rd prototype was on the East Coast in New York. Anyway, there was this morning, when I woke and climbed out onto a rock which was an overhang over the water, and after a little while, this trout just jumped on the hook... It barely fit into my frying pan. In my past, I have NEVER had such a morning as this one. I look back fondly at this memory, and I strive every day to have the same or even better if possible.

I've caught plenty of tiny fish. In Spanish they're called charalitos and they're like an inch, or inch an a half long.

I liked fishing when I was a kid, but I never caught anything :D
