My new boss asked the new waitresses to write up their likes and dislikes of waiting tables so we can set some rules. The thing is that this is my first waitress job, so I don't know what to say. Help?

I went on an interview yesterday for a receptionist position. It went well, and they told they would call me an hour later (the doctor had left for lunch) to set up a second interview for today, but I never got a call back. Should I call them? Or should I wait it out a bit more? I don't know what to do.

I'm an accounting student and I want to get a part time job. I've never had a job before and I've done extremely little volunteer work, like not even enough to be worth mentioning on a resume. I do however have great grades and honors/scholarships/awards. I'm also bilingual. Do you think I have a chance even though I don't have any work experience? How can I spruce up my resume? I know it's an entry level job, but I really don't know if they'll give me a chance.

I never really attend things like this, but I was invited to a formal lunch with my guy-friend's family this Sunday and I really don't know what to wear to such thing. I mean, if it was a dinner then I would just wear a long gown, but for a 1PM lunch? I'm completely lost. Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

He was my biology professor two years ago, and I did an honors project for him. Anyways, I was being silly and added him on Facebook and he seemed really happy to hear from me and invited me for coffee to discuss a project he's working on. I'm not the most social person ever, so I'm scared it's be kinda awkward. How would you feel?

Sorry, I'm just nosy.

A guy invited me to a NYE party at one of his friend's house. I'm getting together with my family on NYE, but I know I could easily get permission to go, since I never (literally never) go out.

The thing is that I'm extremely socially awkward, shy, and quiet. To be honest, I don't want to go because of that (I'm seriously painfully awkward), but at the same time I really like this guy and he's been the only guy in a while who's really made an effort to get me out of my little shell.

So what do you think I should do?

It's an action movie about a man who has a daughter with a Japanese woman, but they don't remain together, then she dies (or is killed) so he goes to Japan to look for his daughter. The thing is that she doesn't know he is her father, and thinks he is just a body guard who is sent to protect her after her mother's death.

Or something along those lines. Also, she has a bunch of friends and they play DDR...
