What's going on with my piercing?

I got my cartliage pierced last November. So it's been...a little over 6 months. I cleaned everyday twice a day like i was supposed to, still do, and hardly ever take it out. I only take it out for a couple of hours every other weekend for volleyball. Then i clean it and my ear and put it back in. Long story short, i'm good with it. Anyway, whenever i take it out to clean it, it gushes blood. It always hurts, and no matter how bad it hurts, i sleep with it in. Is my body rejecting it or what? My lobe piercings are fine and never bleed?

Should not take it out till it is completely healed because that is the easiest way for it to get infected. If your gonna clean it, don't take it out because you need to remember that its a wound on your body with a foreign object through it so you need to give it time to heal fully. I clean my piercings with lavender oil - I know it sounds ridiculous but I have never had an infection with any piercings and I have 7 of them. Consult your doctor I reckon.
