If tragedy struck America, what country do you think would turn around & help us?

America's already in a tragedy. We owe more than a trillion dollars to China. We are broke.

I know in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina Australia, Japan, and Canada sent aid to New Orleans. I know after the tornadoes hit in Alabama Japan sent aid. After 9/11 a small African nation (can't remember which one though) sent 50 bulls to the United States in aid. So it has happened before and the United States and its citizens are very good about sending aid out of the country when it's need like in Haiti, Chile, Japan, Indonesia, etc...

well, haiti has nothing to offer. haiti still needs help.

japan can help. they have A TON OF partnership with the USA.

England and france will help. most if not all european nations. as for latin america-haiti included- we cannot give ya anything since you take too much from us anyways and we are poor.

the united states can help itself too..so who cares.

by the way the aid that the USA gives is not without anything in return..

After 911, and Hurricane Katrina, we received help from several countries, like Canada, Japan, England, France, Germany, even Mexico, and many others

Even if these countries didn't help us, helping our neighbors out is just the right thing to do.

Europe would help us if only to save face. japan would help in return for our humanitarian efforts over the years although they're in no position to offer much. Russia and china might even help, as it would be a huge propaganda coup. superpower begging for aid ? and although we dislike their policies, there are many decent humanitarian citizens in those countries ! America doesn't hold the copyright on philanthropy !

No country would help us, at least not without something in return. We GIVE money and aid to other countries, they only LOAN it to us.

Its hard to know how you would want anyone to help you? do you mean money wise,or by military means? I dont think the US would ever need help,but Britain when the chips were down is the one who would assist your needs because we are basicially we are the same people.

Why would anyone help? The World has drained us & far worse our own politicians have done likewise.
