Problem choosing a major?
I am having a VERY hard time choosing what to major in/what to do with my life. There is just so much I'm interested in...nutrition, cooking, language, dance, theater, travel, etc. Now, normally, people would answer this kind of question telling the person just to go to college as an undecided major and pick later, or choose a major and switch if they don't like it. However, the college major I choose honestly does decide where I will go to college. There is not one college with all the majors I might want, nor are any two of my potential colleges in the same city...or even the same state. I know this is terrible, I'm having this crisis at the worst possible time, seeing as how I'm currently a senior and it's the middle of May. Help me.
I don't really know what I want to do with my life. In different "daydream" type things, I can see myself as all of those things.

I feel your pain. As a college student myself, I find it completely unrealistic for people to expect 17-22 year olds to know right then and there what they want to do with their lives when we haven't even experience half of it.
Anyways, you can major in something culinary-related and take classes in dance and theatre. It's not necessary to take classes solely in your major and most schools require you to take classes outside of it. You can travel with any major and you're most likely going to be required to take a certain amount of foreign language classes regardless of major. For instance, I am a science major and I have to take at least a year of it at my community college and the 4-year school I'm going to transfer to.
While I wouldn't recommend you just jumping into college with no idea of what you want to major in and changing that major as the wind blows because certain majors have certain prereqs and they can take quite some time and the money can add up quickly. Going in and actually taking a few classes is really the best way to decide what to do, if that makes any sense. What's your favorite subject in high school? Not just teacher or class in general, I mean subject. Use that to help guide what you do and where you go for now because that's really the only experience you have. If that doesn't help, talk to your school's guidance counselor. That's what they're there for (although, sometimes they can suck). If you get little to no help there, start collecting pamphlets and information from each prospective school's programs that interest you. Usually, there should be something there about what you can do with a degree in X. Try to find some of those things that really interest you and go from there. Research the ones that really stick out to you, major requirement, graduate/medical/law school, time you'll spend in school, career prospects, how much it'll cost you, etc.
That's really the best you can do right now. If you still can't decide, go to a school with a liberal arts focus where you're allowed and encouraged to take classes in a wide range of subjects for the first year to find your niche. Or go to a community college first and then transfer.

Major in History! You stated you desired to educate that's pleasant! The key's to do VERY good virtually a four.zero GPA in order that can assess the possibility so that you can a well Grad university if making a decision to do this or educate as an alternative that is superb when you've got th3e ardour and skillability for that. You can move to LAW, MEDICINE, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT university, NURSING SCHOOL with virtually ANY principal you simply have to take and do good on the necessities. So...I say, Major in History....then move from there if for the duration of the 4 years you wish to be a Doctor...then stick to the History principal and get all of the prereqs that you want...those are further categories similar to Chemistry, Biology, Physics. If you wish to enter LAW it's practically ideal you want most effective research for the LSAT. Don't agonize! hAVE FUN!!! ONE LAST THING: when you cannot find the money for a four 12 months Uni. to not fear and it is usually alot larger. Just move to a Junior school for 2 years and get all of the required General Education and you'll be able to switch to Anywhere even Harvard!!!!!

I would consider what type of career you're looking to go into at this point. What do you want to do with your life? Can you see yourself more as a chef or a dance instructor? You might also want to consider which majors/careers will provide you with the most financial stability and job prospects.
