When a woman makes the statement, "My boyfriend still likes me (so I'll continue to go out with him...)"?
Exactly what can this mean.

It's almost like she had asked some girlfriend or friends to go out with her to do something like eat or whatever the case is & got the answer of no, or felt like she wasn't liked enough by the person or persons she asked out & made the statement of "My boyfriend still likes me (so I'll continue to go out with him". I don't really get the feeling she feels any stronger feeling than "like" with him also. So he is kind of her backup until something else "better offer" comes along.

It means even though she's not interested in him, she's going out for the boyfriend's sake. She can easily move on from him if something happens between them.

Just saying that the relationship with her boyfriend is ongoing and she is not willing to star another one
