Most inspiring thing you were ever told?

From an influential person in your life. This isn't a school assignment, I just wanted to hear the stories from your lives.

For me, my high school lacrosse coach used to tell us, "The good things in life will keep you from reaching the best things in life." I thought this was very wise, it always motivated me not to quit when I just doing what was expected of me. I always thought of these words and asked myself if I was reaching MY OWN full potential.

How about yourselves?

    Helllo(:

well i've been a cheerleader since 7th grade. then 8th. then 9th i took a break. couldnt handle people on the team. made me want to shout. im back in for 10th. i've never been the one to fit in. not the juicy couture, VS pink or coach. i have some but its not my closet. there is this beautiful girl named Erica and she is just so sweet. she complements everybody but right now she has so many things going on in her life she tells me her mom has cancer (i've known her. she says im a good cheerleader) and she doesnt fit in as in skills. she tells me that shes not liking cheer because she is the not as skilled one. and i always kknow what to say to her. and one day she told me she looks up to me. (even though im shorter and younger) and that she says i always put her in a smile. now when im sad mad or whatever i think of erica and how she sees me as positive pattie and i want to live up to her expectations as me. she is so sweet and i'll be there for her(:

Cut toxic people out of your life. You can't fly with someone holding your feet.

    "Come as you are"

I know it's a song, but those four words alone mean a lot more to me than the entire song. It means that you should be yourself, and only that.
