Do you know if this is rare or what it means astrologically?

Question

hi! I was wondering about the level of significance of something, if there are some experienced in this realm who might offer their opinion or insight. I am somewhat of a novice but I have been interested in Astrology for many years and read a bit about it. 

I was looking up the planetary makeup of this guy I started talking to online and I discovered that we share all the same signs.. not in exact placement of course cuz that would be near impossible.. but the makeup of each of our charts only includes the latter half of the signs. I've done charts for other people such so I know that I have not come across all these similarities before. I am wondering what you think about it. how significant it is, and if you can look deeper and see what the different placements might mean

If you are curious my birthdate is 9/26/84, born in Milw., WI at 6:26pm and he was born 11/30/81 in Chicago, IL, birthtime unknown

I know that we don't have signs in the exact same planets, but there are 12 signs total and we each have less than half of the signs making up our whole charts.. and they're the exact same 5 signs.
