Your thoughts on Chris Jericho probably returning to The WWE later in 2011?

In his latest public comments on a potential WWE return, Chris Jericho says he's not sure when he will return with Fozzy touring throughout 2011. He also says he believes wrestling fans have a sense of entitlement to his career.

"It's not like I said I'm never coming back, but I also never put a date on it," Jericho told Arda Ocal of the Right After Wrestling radio show in an interview promoting Fozzy's various summer tours.

"People, I think, sometimes feel a little entitled, that it's like, 'Well, Jericho said he's coming back or Jericho should be coming back by now.' To me, it's all about expanding yourself as a performer and continuing to challenge myself doing things I find interesting to do."

Jericho added that he doesn't want to limit himself to just being a "WWE wrestler," which he says many wrestling fans only see him as.

"It's like there's some sort of expiration date on me. I never once said I was coming back and I'm not sure when that will be. My contract ended in September, I knew Dancing with the Stars was coming up, and I knew Fozzy had a lot of tour dates coming up," Jericho said.

"It might make a lot of wrestling fans angry, but it makes a lot of music fans happy. If wrestling fans are angry at me, I'm sorry, but with Fozzy gaining as much momentum...I think people should see the reason why we want to continue playing as much as we can with Fozzy."

Chris Jericho is an intelligent man; whenever he decides to return, it will be for his own good.. I agree that most of us fans always try to put a date on when a superstar is coming back, like, "Oh, Jericho is done with Dancing with the Stars, so he'll be back in a month" or "Batista isn't in MMA so he will be back" etc.. We, as fans, kind of jump to conclusions without knowing what each superstar actually wants..

Fozzy is a very interesting band, and hey, if they are getting recognized internationally, what a great way for Chris Jericho to expand his "resume" and be known to people as more than just a WWE wrestler..

I would rather see him back in the WWE as soon as possible, because he is much better than over half of the guys in the locker room, but again, he will know when will be the right time to come back, and I will be happy for him for whatever decision he decides to make.. And if he does come back in late 2011, I say he should be the Royal Rumble winner ^_^..

From what I read before in wrestling news articles because I have keeping up

with the updates on Chris Jericho's World Wrestling Entertainment return. He

did say that his WWE contract was 90% done that WWE and Chris Jericho's

contract just needed a few details here and there the new contract for Jericho

to make his WWE return was already in the works and that we should expect

to see Chris Jericho back in 2011. Now on what brand though? Smackdown or

RAW where the Chris Jericho storyline left off Randy Orton punted Jericho after

a match on Monday Night RAW and that's where Chris Jericho was written off.

I think Chris Jericho would be more suited for Smackdown because The Miz is

on RAW and he's good on the mic there and for Smackdown I would like to see

Chris Jericho wrestle there and continue his rivalry with 'The Viper' Randy Orton.

I think he needs some long rest because he always does wrestling, interview, book signing, autograph signing, Fozzy tour and the recent dancing. Let other superstars shine in the WWE. It is too early for him to return since his neighbor/friend, The Miz is developing as a main-event star. Also, Alberto Del Rio is still on the hunt, CM Punk leading young stars, Sheamus will be violent again and Wade Barett trying to get some credibility.Chris should do tours while he isn't in WWE to earn money and spend time with his family. Chris Jericho would probably come back before Wrestlemania.

  • He's better known as a wrestler than a musician so I think he should return to the WWE sooner than later.
