I've heard you can get both your credit report and your score now every year for free. Where do I get it without using some lousy service online that wants to sign me up for services ect.?

no don't listen to that fool that told you to take out a loan! everytime you apply for a loan it lowers your score! wow are ppl that dumb?! use freecreditreport.com...it gives you a free report but not a score, but there is a way to get it, id go to ur bank and ask them if they look it up or how much it is to look it up thru them, i know you can get all 3 reports for free once a year wit no affect to ur score tho.

Those places that give it free once a year usually make you pay to sign up for a year membership. You can cancel the membership, but you probably forget to. Best bet is to go to you bank or credit union. Fill out a loan application. Once it's processed, tell them you would like to see the results of the credit report they ran. You don't have to take to loan, if it is approved. There may or may not be a 'loan application fee'. $10 +/-
